Your pre-Christmas treatment timeline

16 weeks until Christmas!

It might feel like Christmas is still a lifetime away, but when it comes to treatments, the best results aren't always about what you can book closest to the event, they're about giving your skin and treatments time to work.

We've put together our pre-Christmas injectable timeline so you know when to start thinking about each treatment.

💉 Anti-wrinkle injections

If you're planning anti-wrinkle injections before Christmas, don't leave them until the week before. Allow around 2 weeks for the treatment to settle, with time for a review or touch-up if recommended.

And if you're hoping to have two treatment appointments before Christmas, starting earlier gives you much more breathing room. Our advice? Start the conversation now.

✨ Biostimulating treatments

These aren't necessarily your “instant result” treatment.

Biostimulating treatments work by encouraging your skin's own regenerative processes, so results develop over time. Allow for potential bruising and approximately 3–4 weeks for results to become apparent, and depending on your treatment plan, you may benefit from starting well before December.

🪡 Skin needling

Skin needling is another one we wouldn't recommend squeezing in at the last minute.

We generally allow around 24 hours of downtime and recommend treatments approximately 4-6 weeks apart, depending on your individual plan. Because your skin continues to remodel after treatment, the best results aren't necessarily visible immediately.

Starting now gives us time to work with your skin rather than rushing it.

💧 Skin boosters

Want that hydrated, healthy-looking skin for your Christmas events? Skin boosters can take approximately 2 weeks for results to become noticeable, while allowing around 48 hours of downtime. Again, planning ahead means you have time for your skin to settle and for results to develop naturally.

💉 Dermal filler

Filler is another treatment where timing matters.

We generally recommend allowing 48-72 hours for initial downtime, with results becoming more apparent over the following 2-3 weeks as swelling settles and the treatment integrates. Which is exactly why we don't recommend booking your first-ever filler treatment immediately before your Christmas party.

✨ Facials

Regular facials in the months leading up to Christmas can help support your skin barrier, hydration and overall skin health, while allowing us to monitor how your skin is responding to your home care and treatments. Then, as Christmas gets closer, we can choose a treatment based on what your skin actually needs at the time, whether that's hydration, calming, lymphatic support or simply a little extra glow.

Build your skin health over the coming months, then use your November/December appointment as the finishing touch rather than a rescue mission. 🎄

But here's the most important part...

You don't need to do everything. At TFS, we don't believe in creating a giant list of treatments just because Christmas is coming. Your timeline will depend on your skin, your goals, your previous treatments and what will actually benefit you. Sometimes the best pre-Christmas plan is a series of treatments over the next few months. Sometimes it's one well-timed treatment. And sometimes, it's knowing when not to treat. That's why we recommend starting the conversation early.

16 weeks gives us plenty of time to make a thoughtful plan, without the December panic.
