Our Pathology Review service combines blood test results with your individual skin concerns to help explore potential internal factors that may be contributing to your skin's condition. By looking at the bigger picture, we can develop a more personalised, science informed approach to your skin treatment plan.

Who is it for?

A Pathology Review may be suitable for clients who:

  • Feel stuck with their skin progress despite a consistent skincare routine and regular treatments.

  • Experience chronic or recurring skin concerns, including acne, eczema, dermatitis or pigmentation.

  • Want a more holistic approach to understanding and supporting their skin health.

  • Are interested in practitioner-only supplements as part of an individualised skin health plan, where appropriate.

How it works

01. Choose your Pathology Review add-on

Select the Pathology Review add-on when booking your consultation with TFS. This allows us to begin the process of exploring your skin concerns in greater depth.

02. Receive your pathology referral

Following your consultation, you'll be sent a pathology referral link to arrange your blood tests.

03. Have your blood tests collected

You'll organise your blood collection through the nominated pathology provider. The cost of the blood test is approximately $28, payable separately.

04. Discuss your results with a doctor

In accordance with the service's clinical process, an Australian Script Doctor will contact you to discuss the general outcomes of your pathology results.

05. Your results are shared with TFS

Following the doctor's review, your results are forwarded to our clinic for further consideration in the context of your skin concerns and treatment goals.

06. Receive your personalised skin plan

Your TFS nurse will review your results alongside your skin history and current treatment plan. You'll then receive a comprehensive guide via email outlining relevant findings, potential connections between your results and your skin concerns, and personalised recommendations. Where appropriate, this may include practitioner-only supplements to support your wider skin health goals.

The aim is to give you a more informed, individualised direction for your skin journey, with recommendations that consider more than just what is happening on the surface.

Please note: Blood tests are arranged separately and incur an additional cost. Pathology results are reviewed within the scope of each practitioner's qualifications. Recommendations are individualised, and supplements are suggested only where appropriate. This service complements, rather than replaces, your ongoing medical care.
