Madilyn is the Founder of The Functional Skin Studio and Functional Skincare line.

Madilyn’s experience with her own problematic eczema prone skin, drove her to become a Paramedical Dermal Therapist, where she worked for a Cosmetic Doctor for five years. Madilyn is now a Registered Nurse with post grad studies in Integrative Medicine and Dermatology. Her primary role now is as a Registered Cosmetic Nurse running The Functional Skin Studio and Online store. At the Functional Skin Studio Madilyn utilises her injectable training and Dermal science knowledge to have her patients skin glowing from inside out and outside in.

Madilyn is currently only treating existing patients and preparing to take her Maternity leave from April 2024. Madilyn has hired NURSE KATHY to support her patients during this time.

Sarah is our full time senior Injector. She has a Bachelor of Nursing and specialises in advanced cosmetic injectable treatments. Sarah is a clinical trainer for one of Australia’s leading aesthetic companies training and upskilling cosmetic nurses and doctors in the field of cosmetic medicine. In this capacity, she shares her wealth of knowledge with industry professionals, assisting them in becoming highly skilled practitioners within the realm of Cosmetic Medicine.

With a keen eye for detail and facial symmetry, Sarah found her love for Cosmetic Medicine as a post-operative reconstructive and Plastic Surgery Nurse. Sarah has an extensive history in Natural Therapy and digestive health, as a former Colon Hydrotherapist prior to nursing. Sarah operated a Natural therapy clinic in a multifaceted wellness centre. Sarah has a wealth of knowledge in holistic care.

Nurse Kathy is a Registered Nurse & Midwife who discovered a passion for skincare and aesthetics while battling adult acne. With a Graduate Diploma of Cosmetic Nursing and Injectables, she blends expertise in integrative health, dermatology, and aesthetics. She believes in skin reflecting overall wellness and empowers clients on holistic skin journeys through treatments and injectables. Her focus is on enhancing both appearance and inner confidence.

Alisha is Cosmetic Nurse at Functional Skin Studio and for one of Australia’s leading Dermatology companies. This role affords her the daily opportunity to guide and mentor healthcare practitioners in the treatment and care of patients in the areas of dermatology and aesthetic medicine. She possesses a Bachelor of Nursing along with post graduate qualifications in Scheduled Medicines and Education.

Alisha understands the balance between art and science necessary to refine the individual beauty of her patients. You are in very skilled hands.

Sophie is our holistic facialist with a passion for skin, mind and body health. Sophie possesses a Diploma in Beauty Therapy and has worked in the beauty and health industry as a hands on skin therapist for 10 years. Sophie specialises in not only achieving results long term for her clients but with a nurturing touch. ( Seriously, she has the hands of an angel!) Like many skin therapists , Sophie set out on her own skin and health journey which has led her to study a Bachelor of Health Science in Naturopathy to further her knowledge and support her clients further to give them the full holistic experience. Sophie sets out to make all of our patients skin treatments a calm and nurturing experience.

Paige is dedicated to holistic wellness in all areas of her life and provides a calming, nurturing facial experience. Her focus lies on lymphatic health & massage to help all skin conditions. Paige is passionate about enhancing the overall well-being of her clients' skin and guiding them on their journey to whole health.

Molly is our Full Time Clinic Manager at The Functional Skin Studio. Molly has managed health clinics for over 5 years and has always had a passion for helping clients on their holistic, wellness journey.

Her favourite part of managing the studio is being surrounded by the multifaceted team and seeing the clients post-treatment confidence they radiate.

Laura is a Clinical Naturopath passionate about empowering individuals to reconnect with their body and return home to their true-self. Laura assists individuals address the root cause of their symptoms to unearth long-term health results. Her approach to treatment is realistic and achievable, empowering clients with lifestyle advice, health education and evidence-based nutrition and herbal medicine.

Dr Alex has a Bachelor of Science (Medicine) Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery. He is a professional member of the Australian College of Aesthetic Medicine and travels Australia injecting in many prestigious clinics. We are so lucky to have him not only as one of our prescribing Drs, but treating Drs also. He has a gentle and conservative approach to ensure natural and subtle results.
