9 Months In: A Little TFS Update
A little note from Molly
Nine months into the year, I thought it was time for a little TFS update.
It feels slightly strange to say we're already three quarters of the way through the year. Looking back, so much has happened inside the studio, new treatments, new ideas, events, plenty of learning and, most importantly, lots of growth.
I've been with TFS for almost three years now, and one of my favourite parts of the role is seeing how much the studio continues to evolve.
This year we've continued to build out our treatment menu and introduce new ways to care for our clients..
We've welcomed new treatments and techniques into the studio, expanded our facial offerings and continued bringing more of our holistic roots into the treatment room. From new skin treatments to little rituals and add-ons, we've been thinking a lot about how we can make your time at TFS feel even more considered.
We've also put a lot of energy into education, making sure our team continues to learn, refine their skills and stay curious about the skin and the treatments we're offering.
For me, that's one of the most exciting parts of working here. There is always something new to learn.
We've celebrated too
We've held events, welcomed our community into the studio, collaborated with other local businesses and created opportunities for our clients to spend a little more time with us outside of their regular appointments.
TFS has always been about more than just what happens in the treatment room, and I think that's something we've continued to build on this year.
One of the bigger changes recently has been saying a temporary goodbye to Steph as she begins maternity leave.
Steph has been such a special part of TFS, and while we're incredibly excited for this next chapter for her, it definitely feels different around the studio without her.
We're so grateful for everything she's brought to TFS, her knowledge, her calm presence, her care for her clients and, of course, all the little things that become part of a team over time. We'll miss having her in the studio, but we're very happy to see her step into this next season.
If there's one thing I've noticed more than anything this year, it's how much our team has continued to grow together.
We're constantly reviewing what we're doing, refining our systems, learning from our experiences and looking at how we can do things better.
Sometimes that means introducing something completely new. Other times it's simply looking at something we've always done and asking, can we make this better?
I think that's what makes TFS such a special place to work. We're never trying to be the biggest or do everything. We're much more interested in doing things thoughtfully, continuing to learn and creating an experience that feels genuinely considered.
Looking towards the rest of the year
There are still a few months left of 2026, and somehow, I already know they're going to fly by. We've got more things in the works, more education planned, more ideas we'd love to bring to life and, of course, plenty happening behind the scenes.
So, if you've been coming into TFS for years, or you've only recently found us, thank you for being part of it.
It's been a beautiful year so far, busy, full, occasionally chaotic, but full of so many little moments that remind us why we love what we do.
Here's to the final few months of the year.
